Youve got to feel for Roman Reigns and Sheamus right now. Both are being sent out to headline WWE events at a time when ratings are down, and its not necessarily their fault. The material theyve been given to work with is terrible seriously, tater tot is the insult the writers give the supposed top babyface to throw out? and theyve been booked badly over recent months. Very few (if any) performers could succeed in that situation. So as Reigns and Sheamus prepare for a TLC match where they will throw themselves through tables, beat each other with chairs and fall off ladders, will either one of them come out better than they were going in? This could be a very good match, but will it elevate either man? If Sheamus wins, it almost certainly will be a screwjob finish to protect Roman, thus making the champion look weaker than he already is. If Reigns finally wins the big one (and keeps the belt longer than 5:15), will he be positioned to carry the title into WrestleMania season? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGdvvCblT1c Obviously, there are big names coming back for WrestleMania, but if the TLC main event represents the future of WWE and how the company carries itself without the part-timers, then you have to wonder if anyone will come out ahead.
