Tito Ortiz is a former UFC Champion and current Bellator star. He was quick to defend Hulk online, addressing his patriotism and letting him know that he has his support:

Obviously, he received some pushback after making these comments. Still, Ortiz stuck to his guns and insinuated that people who were upset over this matter just might be a little too uptight:

It might not be fair to simply reduce racial slurs to matters of 'sticks and stones' but Ortiz stayed on the side of Hulk. Hogan noticed and sent back his appreciation on Twitter:
