Theres not a lot to be excited about in pro wrestling these days. Aside from the absolute greatness that is Dean Ambrose and NXT, there is very little reprieve from the weekly chore that is WWE Monday Night Raw. Make no mistake about it, sitting through that long three hour show week after week is a chore, one that rarely if ever bears any meaningful fruit. The only thing that keeps us going is thoughts about the future. Whether youre talking about Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, or Finn Bálor, Hideo Itami, Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze and Kevin Steen, the future of the WWE looks bright. That being said, these men arent the only future WWE stars. What about the Divas of the future. If you watch NXT, you see the quality womens wrestling they present on a weekly basis. The match quality and story quality is leaps and bounds better than the main rosters. The women on NXT feel like real characters with well-defined characteristics that go beyond simply crazy, or mean, or nice. The NXT Divas have dimension, the NXT Divas have ambition, the NXT Divas are given time to work and are allowed to feud over things that people other than 13 year old girls would care about. Given the higher quality of the Divas Division on NXT, its impossible to think that the main roster wont eventually begin to improve in quality as these ladies move on up, which is reason to be excited about the future of the Divas. Who are these Divas that will pave the way to a new age of womens wrestling on the main roster? There are certainly a few names that you need to know before they debut on WWE TV and take the world by storm. This week we will be looking at the Divas yet to debut on the main roster (and some yet to be signed to WWE contracts) so that you know what you can look forward to in the near future.
