9 HUGE AEW Fyter Fest Predictions You Need To Know

1. The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega Vs. Pentagon Jr., Rey Fenix and Laredo Kid

This was originally supposed to be The Elite versus the Lucha Brothers and PAC before all that drama with the former Neville went down. Regardless of whether those "creative differences" are a work or not, losing Dragon Gate's Open the Dream Gate Champion was a major disappointment. Think how cool it would've been to see 'The Bastard' locking horns with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.

Sigh.

Fortunately, AEW have sourced one hell of a replacement in Laredo Kid, who, at 32, is finally ready to make a name for himself in one of America's major promotions.

Check this recent clash with El Hijo del Vikingo for proof of Kid's excellence. It's as state-of-the-art as lucha libre gets in 2019, and while you might not know the masked man's work yet, you will after Fyter Fest. All In's cocaine main event was designed, primarily, to get the rising Bandido over. Laredo will play that role here and he might just be your new favourite wrestler by the end of it.

Obviously, this thing is going to rule. It'll be a gif-maker's delight, and should help push the Lucha Brothers vs. Young Bucks feud forward after Pentagon and Fenix retook the AAA Tag Team Titles in Mexico. Expect their final battle to come at All Out after The Elite triumph in Fyter's likeliest main event.

Winners: The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.
