9 Ruthless Decisions WWE Need To Make Now

6. Make Bayley More Appealing To Adults

Bayley hasn't managed to trade NXT stardom for main roster success as of yet, and much of that has to do with WWE failing to organically develop her character. Seeing Bayley appear like a little girl on Raw is jarring. Why can't she appeal to both children and adults alike?

It's not impossible to do this even with Bayley's little girl hairdo, love of hugs or generally well-meaning personality. Take the 'Kendo Stick On A Pole' match against Alexa Bliss for example. That disaster would have worked a little better had Bayley been allowed to show another side of her character, rather than refusing to get violent.

Being a role model for young women is all well and good, but Bayley's one-note character will only turn adults off. Real people are rarely so black and white, so the former NXT phenomenon needs WWE to give her role a rethink before she's pigeonholed as childish fluff.
