Ups...
9. If You Will
Ten-bell salutes are nice, but WWE figured out a great way to honor the late American Dream Dusty Rhodes, announcing Saturday a month-long tag team tournament that will begin in September. WWE.com bills it as featur(ing) the best of NXTs past, present and future, duking it out for tag team supremacy, with the finals taking place at the next NXT TakeOver, live on WWE Network on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Theres no word on whether this will be a number one contenders tournament for the NXT Tag Team Championships that the Vaudevillains just won, whether the champs will put their titles up as part of the tourney, or if this is just for bragging rights. Regardless, if done well, this could be a classy, smart way to honor Rhodes, who worked hard with the young NXT talent to get them ready for the big time.
