It feels like this has been a recurring theme with WWE, but yet again we are experiencing a turbulent and uninspiring ride on the annual road to WrestleMania. Shortly before the Royal Rumble, reports came out that WWE was looking to make the show between Rumble and Mania €“ traditionally their two biggest events €“ into a marquee card. The booking and lineup for Fastlane hasn€™t built very much anticipation among the audience, so the only real hope to turn the show into something special is throw a few surprises and memorable moments our way. Wrestling is at its best when the fans are emotionally invested and kept on the edge of our seats due to expectation and the ever-important unpredictability. Whether or not they've intended to do so, WWE has actually managed to build some doubt in our minds that their chosen hero, Roman Reigns will come out victorious in the main event this Sunday. While the sentiment among the audience is that Fastlane is a show that can easily be missed and has the potential to be an abysmal failure, here's several ways WWE can ensure that doesn't happen and turn it into a critical success.
