9. Taz Calls Out Dana White
Newsworthy Bite: Former TNA and WWE announcer Taz responded to Dana White's "pro wrestling is fake" comments during his podcast:
"Dana White: learn your s*** before you pop off and chirp. I take massive offense to what you said, how you handled it, and the disrespect towards the great industry, and the art form, and our craft of sports entertainment and professional wrestling. Okay? Shame on you, dude. And if I ever get the chance to meet you, Dana White, I will tell you to your face and I promise I will, okay? And you will never get another dime from me, UFC, because of his comments. For someone like Dana White to disrespect, and then come back and say, 'oh, I respect [professional] wrestlers' and all this kind of stuff, you're a liar. You're backtracking. You're a hypocrite."
Reaction: As Taz loved to say on commentary: "no doubt". Dana White said it was just a joke in response to a wrestling fan, but you know if someone talked trash about UFC he would jump all over that person in a heartbeat. Dana, just give us Ronda Rousey, and all is forgotten.
