9 WWE Superstars Who Could Be So Much More Than They Currently Are

8. Chad Gable

It's scary to think about how good Chad Gable could be if the WWE gave him more than a couple minutes every few weeks on Raw to show his stuff. A talent sculpted directly out of the Kurt Angle mold, the company has teased a singles push in the past but Gable doesn't get much love from the bookers. This despite fellow WWE superstars praising his matches, which often display uncanny strength, technical genius, and memorable move sets.

Gable was a standout in NXT as part of American Alpha and when Jason Jordan (the other half of that team) was given the opportunity to run with a long-lost daddy storyline involving Angle, it was actually Gable who stood out behind the scenes. Creating a spoof out of the terrible idea, Gable joked he was Daniel Bryan's son. The fans thought it was hilarious.

Gable might be small, but in a WWE where small works now, there's no reason to steal television time from the former Olympic wrestler. A heel run might be the thing he needs to get his push kickstarted. He's got the personality, the in-ring technical skills to back it up and he wows you with his matches. What more can you ask for?
