Sought-after free agent Kamille was backstage at last night's AEW Dynamite taping in Charleston, South Carolina.

Fightful Select reports as much, confirming that Kamille is yet to sign a deal with another wrestling promotion following her NWA departure. Currently, the belief is that she was visiting friends at Dynamite.

WWE is understood to be interested in signing Kamille, with Haus of Wrestling reporting earlier this month that the former NWA Women's World Champion was high on the market-leading promotion's radar. Currently, WWE's parent company, TKO Group, is looking to refresh its talent pool with new, impactful signings.

Fightful notes that in recent weeks, WWE has been expected to offer Kamille a deal to work on its NXT brand.

Kamille is best known for her time in the NWA, the brand she joined in 2019, initially working alongside current WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Most notably, Kamille was the company's NWA Women's Champion for 821 days between June 2021 and August 2023, defending the strap 40 times after defeating current AEW star Serena Deeb to take the gold. Eventually, Kamille, who hasn't wrestled since leaving the NWA in November, was dethroned by Kenzie Paige.
