Adam Copeland Has Gone Full Cody Rhodes (AEW News)

Bonus points if you thought this meant that Adam Copeland had sensationally debuted some sort of Stardust offshoot gimmick he planned to inflict on episodes of AEW Dynamite and Collision. That hasn't happened, but Cope has posted something interesting on Instagram that'll catch some attention from fans wondering how long the legend has left as an active pro wrestler.

Years ago, Cody Rhodes lit up social media by revealing his personal shortlist of goals and dream opponents. It was a savvy move, because it got everyone talking and had fans licking their lips in anticipation of choice bouts that Cody included (then eventually worked).

Copeland has followed suit by ringing off a list of venues he'd like still to wrestle in. Right at the bottom of the pic, another shortlist of suitable opponents was shown, but Adam didn't disclose all of that. Therein lies the teaser. Big Edge, eh? What's he like?! Keeping us all on tenterhooks.

For reference, the venues that Cope jotted down were (in order): Arena Mexico, Wembley Stadium, Maple Leaf Gardens and the Tokyo Dome. There was a tick next to the first one, and Adam will work Maple Leaf for independent outfit Maple Leaf Pro on 3 October.

Most of the chatter will be reserved for the fact it appears to be none other than Kenny Omega's name atop the opponents section. It'd be fun to find out exactly who else was included. That'll surely be revealed in due course, and maybe Copeland will get that lofty bout vs. Omega before hanging up his boots for good.
