AEW All Out: 10 Things That Must Happen

Should the choice of an old generation beat the choice of a new in Chicago?

AEW All Out

Before launching headfirst into a juicy Wednesday night scrap with WWE's NXT brand that promises to help both refine their products, AEW will present its final pre-weekly TV pay-per-view this coming Saturday. All Out, a spiritual sequel to last year's All In (held in the same building) already has some teething problems before it starts.

Jon Moxley is out with a staph infection, and that removes one of the show's most enticing attractions. He was set to tangle with Kenny Omega in the co-main event slot, but Moxley's injuries mean PAC has been brought in from the cold as a late replacement. His bout with Omega will still be good, but it lacks the months of build Mox vs. Kenny had.

Aside from that, questions still remain over the effectiveness of throwing celebrated indy workers together in random matches without much context. This strategy has been a bit hit and miss since AEW first landed on pay-per-view in May with Double Or Nothing, and it looks set to continue until weekly television helps to pin down storylines.

Here's everything that must happen in Chicago for All Out to make wrestling fans buy in...
