AEW All Out: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Chris Jericho Becomes The Inaugural AEW Champion

It must've been a nightmare for AEW's booking committee to decide who should become the very first World Champion in company history. Hangman Page has youth, a strong social media following online and a magnetism to him that's hard to deny. However, opposite him stands Chris f*cking Jericho, the man who spurned Vince McMahon and went off on his own.

That's not the only reason why he's the right choice.

Jericho is a massive star who commands quite the audience. He's a brand more than a wrestler at this point in proceedings, and he's the kind of guy who could be counted upon to gain some mainstream press if he bagged the belt. AEW only get one chance to make a first impression here, and it's important they don't ignore cash and creative.

Beyond All Out, a heel Jericho being headhunted and chased by a hungry group of babyfaces like Page, Kenny Omega and Cody sounds awesome. Then, wildcards like Jon Moxley, Shawn Spears and even mid-carders like MJF or Darby Allin are there to provide interim challenges on TV.
