AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida's All Out 2020 challenger was confirmed on Saturday's Dynamite, in the shape of her NWA equivalent Thunder Rosa.

A pre-recorded package played which showed Rosa - identified as NWA's title holder, and with the belt in tow - answering Shida's call for challengers. As all pretenders to wrestling championships do, Rosa vowed to take the strap from her opponent.

Although Shida herself did not feature on Dynamite, and hasn't offered an official response, AEW have confirmed that the match will take place at their annual extravaganza next month.

Rosa bagged the NWA Women's Championship at the promotion's Hard Times special on 24 January. The Mexican managed just two defences of the title - opposite Allysin Kay and Melina - before the global pandemic effectively shut down NWA's operations.

Shida, meanwhile, was last seen on the 12 August edition of Dynamite, during which she defeated Heather Monroe.

AEW All Out 2020 is scheduled to take place on 5 September. In addition to the Women's Championship match, Jon Moxley will defend the men's version against MJF, whilst Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy meet in a preposterous 'Mimosa Mayhem' contest.
