AEW All Out 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

7. Some Hot Issues Don’t Take

Three undercard singles battles stand out on the card.

Chris Jericho vs. Bryan Danielson is one of them, but more on that later. For now, it's important to give Jungle Boy vs. Christian Cage and Ricky Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs some shine. In fairness, AEW has done a decent job of building both. However, they're hidden away on a jam-packed lower card glut.

Do not be surprised if fans in Illinois use Starks vs. Hobbs to visit the restrooms, check out some merch or go buy another round of beers for friends. That's a constant worry on cards as busy as All Out's - bouts that deserve fan attention might not get much of it.

Apathetic, scattered cheers for JB or Ricky's wins could be detrimental to their respective developments as future All Elite main-eventers, and no f*cker wants that for these lads. Both could probably have been doing with more focus rather than fighting for house room next to throwaway six-man tags and other multi-mans.
