AEW Bans "NXT Reject" For Leaking Eric Bischoff Dynamite Spoilers

Per Chris Jericho, the guilty party is no longer welcome in AEW.

Chris Jericho claims AEW has identified and banned the "NXT reject" who leaked Eric Bischoff's surprise appearance on the 5 August episode of Dynamite a week before it went down on TNT.

Bischoff featured as a guest moderator in the Super Wednesday debate between Jericho and Orange Cassidy, with spoilers hitting the internet soon after the show had been taped. 'Le Champion' spoke on the leak during a recent episode of his Saturday Night Special YouTube series:-

"I think the amount of people who are on social media is very small compared to the amount of people watching. For example, when we had the debate and Eric Bischoff was 'announced' on Reddit... we know who the spy is, by the way. Oh, we know, and he'll never f*cking be back in AEW. [An] NXT reject was the spy."

A handful of potential culprits can be identified from this information. Tino 'Sabby' Sabbatelli recently appeared on AEW Dark following his WWE release in April, while Cezar Bononi, another NXT alumnus, has featured in the crowd. Recent Dark enhancement talent Corey Hollis has also moonlighted on NXT in the past, but hasn't featured since May 2017.

Either way, the spoiler seemingly did no harm to AEW's viewership, as that week's Dynamite drew the show's best numbers since the onset of the global health crisis.
