This week’s AEW Dynamite rating slumped to lows not seen on Wednesday nights since 7 July.

An average of 878,000 total viewers watched Dynamite across its two hours on 3 November, including 424,000 in the 18-49 demographic. That P18-49 number made for a rating of 0.33.

Dynamite finished sixth on the night amongst original cable telecasts, outdone by two NBA games (0.63 and 0.46), Tucker Carlson Tonight (0.46), Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (0.38), and The Challenge (0.37).

Total viewership was down from the previous week’s 941,000 with the P18-49 figure sliding from 518,000. Cable competition was weaker than usual as well, owing partly to the lack of World Series game.

It’s likely that Dynamite’s television ratings will sit somewhere near these figures for the remainder of 2021, which is a consequence of a recent timeslot change in Pacific and Mountain timezones. The show now starts at 5 PM on the West Coast, having previously aired on a three-hour delay at 8 PM, with the change in play since last week. Whether or not Dynamite will switch back to 8 PM in the Pacific timezone following the move from TNT to TBS in January is unclear.
