AEW Dynamite Hit By Significant Audio Issues
Ethan Page's first AEW singles match was hurt by audio problems on Dynamite.
Ethan Page's first singles match in All Elite Wrestling was blighted by audio issues on last night's episode of Dynamite.
Page was set to go one-on-one with the Nightmare Family's Lee Johnson. The bout was preceded by an interview from Johnson's trainer, QT Marshall, which was fine, audio-wise, with the problems not creeping in until Page started an inset promo promising to inflict punishment on Lee after the frustration of losing in his Revolution debut.
The problems persisted for the duration of the match, with it sounding like another audio track from a different program was being played over the top of the standard Dynamite feed.
Only those viewing live on TNT were impacted by this. The audio feed was unaffected on FITE TV, so the issue was with AEW's television network in the United States, not the promotion itself.
Tony Khan tweeted the following during the show:-
The issues had, indeed, cleared up by the end of the bout.
This is a case of unfortunate timing, given the colossal production botch that closed Revolution 2021, when AEW's planned ring explosion fizzled and puffed itself out. Again, it should be emphasised that last night's problems aren't the promotion's fault.
