AEW EVPs Put Feelers Out To WWE

Could the Young Bucks be heading to WWE?

Currently in the midst of serving a suspension following the post-All Out events of last weekend, the Young Bucks have reportedly put out the feelers to gauge if WWE has any interest in them.

This news comes via the Wrestling Observer's Ryan Frederick, who posted about this on the Observer's message board.

Frederick notes how Matt and Nick Jackson have reached out to "a friend in the company" over at WWE to make them aware they'd be willing to "listen to offers" once their present AEW deals expire. The belief is that said deals will come up in January 2024.

While he stated how he's heard this from "multiple people", Frederick was keen to stress how this isn't all that newsworthy as the Bucks are simply maximising their leverage. He would then compare this situation to how an NFL or MLB player would listen to offers from other teams when their contract was coming up.

Of course, many will likely speculate that the person who Matt and Nick have reached out to is former AEW EVP Cody Rhodes, but that's something we may never get an answer to.

As alluded to, the Jacksons are two of several roster members who have suspended by AEW for their role in the backstage altercation that went down after All Out. There is no word on when the Young Bucks will be back on AEW television, with a third party investigation taking place as to what exactly happened last Sunday night.
