AEW Favourite Suffers Injury At Battle Of The Belts III

This AEW star looks set for a spell on the sidelines.

Following a fun, snug match against Thunder Rosa at last night's Battle of the Belts III, it's being reported that Jamie Hayter suffered a broken nose during said bout.

Fightful Select were first with this news, with Hayter pulled from an Icons of Wrestling appearance this weekend due to the injury. Of course, Battle of the Belts III was actually taped Friday night after AEW Rampage, and thus the Brit was due to appear for Icons of Wrestling on the Saturday.

It's not known how long this nose break will keep Hayter out of action, and hopefully the former SWA World Champion won't have to spend too long on the sidelines. This past week alone, the 27-year-old has shown once again just how great a talent she is, with a fantastic tag match on AEW Dynamite - which pitted Hayter and Britt Baker up against Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm - followed by an excellent showing against Rosa at Battle of the Belts III.

Even if Jamie isn't able to compete, one has to imagine she'll still have a presence on TV alongside the Role Model and Rebel, with Hayter one of those talents who forever steals the spotlight of any in-ring or backstage situation she finds herself in.
