In some intriguing news, AEW has moved to trademark the phrase "King of Harts".

This trademark requested was filed on 28 July at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, with the trademark put in for, amongst other things, "entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service".

AEW has Julia Hart alongside the Varsity Blondes right now, although King of Harts is a term that doesn't particularly fit there.

Whether AEW has plans to do something with the Hart Family or A.N. Other Hart remains to be seen, although Chris Jericho previously told Sportskeeda late last year how he'd love for AEW to be able to work with Martha Hart on doing something to honour Owen Hart; Jericho citing how the spirit and influence of Owen lives on in AEW.

The full trademark request can be found below.
