AEW Full Gear: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. Scorpio Sky Wins It For SCU

When Scorpio Sky replaced an injured Christopher Daniels in the AEW Tag Title tournament and lost both his shoes on the 16 October episode, he threatened to become a surprise breakout star. That was surely the point of booking him to replace Daniels, and it worked a treat.

Why stop now?

Sky's emergence as SCU's secret weapon is a wonderful story that can become a memorable chapter in the group's history. At Full Gear then, he should be the one to put a smile on Frankie Kazarian's face and get the match-winning pin in that Triple Threat title match against Lucha Bros. and Private Party.

As impressive as Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been thus far, they're the ones who need to take the losing fall too. Sky pinning Kassidy after a failed Gin 'n' Juice attempt makes sense, and so does keeping Pentagón and Fénix away from doing another job for SCU quite yet.
