With AEW Double or Nothing upon us later this month, there’s now an update on another AEW PPV - that being this year’s Full Gear event.

Ticketmaster has AEW shows listed for St. Louis’ Chaifetz Arena on Friday 5 November and Saturday 6 November.

In the aftermath of today’s news that Tony Khan’s company is to launch a new weekly one-hour Friday night AEW Rampage show from 13 August, it’s since been confirmed by Fightful Select that these two dates are indeed for an episode of Rampage on the Friday, then Full Gear on the following night.

Last year’s Full Gear of course emanated from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, with Jon Moxley successfully defending the AEW World Championship against Eddie Kingston in an I Quit contest, AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida retaining against Nyla Rose, the Young Bucks defeating FTR to become AEW Tag Team Champions, and Darby Allin besting Cody Rhodes to win the AEW TNT Championship.

As for today’s news on AEW Rampage launching later this year, this was also accompanied by Khan announcing that Rampage will join AEW Dynamite in moving from TNT to TBS next year – while TNT will air quarterly supercard TV specials across 2022.
