AEW Newcomer Joins Stable On Dark: Elevation

One of AEW's newest recruits got some new allies on Dark: Elevation last night.

Cole Karter is now aligned with The Factory in All Elite Wrestling.

The union was forged on last night's Dark: Elevation show. Karter wrestled Serpentico on the episode, overcoming Luther's ringside presence to find himself in complete control before scoring the victory via powerslam and 450 splash. Thus, his record since returning to AEW improved to 2-1.

Karter was then accosted by QT Marshall and the rest of The Factory backstage. It didn't take much convincing before Cole had accepted QT's invitation, joining Marshall, Aaron Solo, and Anthony Ogogo in the heel group.

A Dark and Dark: Elevation regular in 2021, when he worked several tapings as an enhancement talent, Karter fell out of the rotation months after signing with WWE in March 2022. There, he became Troy 'Two Times' Donovan, a Tony D'Angelo henchman on NXT 2.0, until he was released by WWE for a policy violation later reported as a failed drug test.

Karter has now been back in AEW for close to a month, having returned through a victory over Mike Orlando at the company's 16 July Dark tapings. Notably, he was defeated by Ricky Starks in a 20 July FTW World Title match.
