AEW Reportedly Worried This Injured Star Will NEVER Return

Wrestling fans worldwide will be hoping this AEW fear doesn't come true.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there's real worry behind the scenes in AEW that injured star Adam Cole won't make a full recovery.

Dave Meltzer claims the concussion Cole suffered at All Elite's Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June was so bad that it could keep him benched for good, or at least for an extended period - the former WWE man did show back up for the 3 August edition of Rampage, albeit in a non-wrestling role.

Now, AEW chiefs are concerned that he won't be 100% ever again. If so, that's a real bummer.

Pro wrestling fans worldwide will have their fingers and toes crossed for Cole here. It's never good to see any worker struggling with injuries, but the ex-Undisputed Era leader has some serious unfinished business in AEW. He's barely even scratched the surface of his run since joining in September 2021.

Tony Khan was forced to postpone his planned Elite implosion due to Cole's injury. Since then, Bobby Fish has left the company and Kyle O'Reilly has been dealing with issues of his own. Fellow Elite members The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are also serving suspensions.
