'Legit' Leyla Hirsch is All Elite.

AEW announced the Russian-born grappler's signing last night, with company president Tony Khan breaking the news on Twitter:-

"Congratulations and welcome aboard officially to @LegitLeyla Hirsch, I’m thrilled to have you signed to @AEW ! Thank you very much to Leyla and to all of you great fans who support @AEWonTNT for making this possible!"

Hirsch's signing is no great surprise and was likely in the works for a while. Though she has only just inked her deal, the up-and-comer has been wrestling on AEW television since the 27 October 2020 episode of Dark, when she worked a non-title match with AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida.

This was a warm-up for a shot at Serena Deeb's NWA World Women's Title on the following night's Dynamite. Deeb won, though Leyla caught the eye in defeat.

Hirsch is currently sitting on an overall record of 5-6 in AEW. Her last bout was a squash win over Miranda Alize on the 1 March Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament: United States Bracket - Final show.

A wrestler since September 2017, Hirsch was trained by DJ Hyde at the CZW Dojo and has already wrestled in Japan, despite her youth, working her first STARDOM tour in January 2020.
