With IMPACT Wrestling currently in the midst of their latest round of TV tapings, AEW's Christopher Daniels made an on-screen IMPACT appearance as part of said tapings.

Fightful Select initially reported that the Fallen Angel was backstage for Friday's IMPACT tapings from Nashville's Skyway Studios, and that story was followed up by the Wrestling Observer confirming that Daniels indeed ended up getting physical during these tapings.

During the IMPACT TV tapings, Daniels ran out to make the save when Ace Austin and Madman Fulton attacked Christian Cage and Josh Alexander. With Cage and Alexander - who will now face each other for the IMPACT World Championship at next month's Bound for Glory PPV - arguing, Austin and Fulton jumped the two of them. From there, Daniels hit the ring to help out the two Canadians.

Of course, Christopher Daniels hasn't wrestled since May, with him and long-time partner Frankie Kazarian forced to split after losing to The Young Bucks in a match that also had the Bucks' AEW Tag Team Titles on the line.

Daniels was for so long a mainstay of TNA Wrestling across the years, winning the X Division Championship four times and having two runs as the IMPACT Tag Team Champions alongside Kazarian.

IMPACT is due for one final day of tapings later today, and it remains to be seen if Daniels will officially compete in an IMPACT ring for the first time since 2014.
