AEW Star Dealing With Injury?

He got physical at the Beach Break special episode of Dynamite, but this AEW star is hurting...

Miro Kip Sabian Penelope Ford

All Elite Wrestling's Kip Sabian is currently working through an injury.

A new report from Fightful Select states that this is the reason 'Superbad' hasn't wrestled a lot lately, which viewers may not have picked up on as he has remained in a prominent onscreen role alongside Miro and Penelope Ford. There's currently no word on the severity of the issue.

Sabian last wrestled for AEW in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal at the Winter Is Coming special on 2 December. Prior to that, he had wrestled just three bouts since August. He and Ford were married at Beach Break last week, with the Englishman getting wiped out as the wedding party was attacked by Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor, though it's not like he took a huge bump.

Ford and Sabian's wedding continued the long-running traditional of such angles popping good ratings, with the quarter-hour it featured in pulling an additional 97,000 viewers in from the previous one. This was despite running opposite Edge's appearance on WWE NXT.

Fingers crossed Kip's injury woes don't keep him sidelined much longer. As things stand, recent on-air events give the impression AEW is building towards Miro vs. Cassidy to blow this feud off.
