This popular AEW star had to take a trip to the ER this weekend.

Having been due to appear at CMLL Viernes Espectacular on Friday, CJ Perry has since taken to X to reveal that - as of last night - she's hospitalised due to an infection.

As per Perry, an infection in her finger has now spread to her arm, forcing her to visit the Emergency Room and miss Friday's CMLL show and last night's AEW Collision.

Without CJ in his corner, Andrade El Idolo still emerged victorious at Viernes Espectacular as he, Soberano Jr. and Angel de Oro picked up the win over Mistico, Atlantis Jr. and Star Jr. in a two-out-of-three-falls bout.

Where AEW Collision was concerned, El Idolo was less successful, coming up short against Claudio Castagnoli in the Continental Classic. As for CJ Perry's real-life husband Miro, he made a fleeting appearance on Collision, being featured in a pre-taped vignette where he declared it isn't because Andrade is CJ's client that he wants to fight him, but more the Redeemer wants to face El Idolo simply due to the former La Sombra being "an a**hole".

From all of us at WhatCulture Wrestling, best wishes to CJ Perry on a swift and full recovery.
