Skye Blue was recently pulled from a set of AEW tapings, reports Fightful Select.

There is currently no word on why, exactly, Skye Blue was removed from the show in question, though it has been stressed that she isn't currently injured or sick. The young star is expected to be back soon.

Blue last wrestled for AEW in a dark match at the company's 17 May Dynamite show, teaming with Abadon and Willow Nightingale in a victory over Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura, and Marina Shafir. She has been active in the promotion all year, racking up 21 matches in total, while also competing for AEW's sister group Ring Of Honor on a regular basis.

Recently, Skye Blue challenged ROH Women's World Champion Athena in a well-received match taped for ROH's 11 May episode on HonorClub. The 22-year-old was defeated after putting up a valiant babyface effort. Afterwards, Athena raised Skye's hand, feigning respect for attacking once more, putting Blue on the mat to close out.

A wrestler since 2017, Blue debuted for AEW in a defeat to Serena Deeb on 19 January 2022, and has since signed for the Tony Khan-helmed company.
