Nyla Rose has had to pull out of an independent booking after testing positive for COVID-19.
Enjoy Wrestling broke the news earlier in the week, revealing that the former AEW Women's World Champion was out of a planned match with Edith Surreal scheduled for this Saturday's Striking Distance show:-

Fortunately, the indie group has been able to find a suitable Nyla replacement in the form of one of her AEW rostermates:-

Rose, meanwhile, has issued the following short statement, saying that while she hates having to cancel appearances, showing up at Striking Distance would have been negligent of her:-
It absolutely breaks my heart to have to cancel shows… but in this case it would have been incredibly negligent of myself no to do so.

An All Elite Wrestling original, Rose was introduced as one of the company's first signings in February 2019. The original Double Or Nothing pay-per-view brought her first match, as she contested a four-way with Britt Baker, Kylie Rae, and Awesome Kong, and she quickly became a fixture at the top of her division soon after.
Winning the Women's World Title by defeating Riho at the second time of asking in February 2020, Rose reigned for 101 days until that May, when she was felled by Hikaru Shida.
