AEW Star SHOOTS On Edge & Damian Priest's New WWE Stable

Admittedly, there are certain similarities between Edge's crew and a leading AEW faction...

The presentation similarities between All Elite Wrestling's House of Black stable and Edge's new alliance with Damian Priest on WWE Raw haven't gone unnoticed by AEW's Brody King.

King quote-tweeted an image of Priest and Edge from last night's episode of Raw while the show was ongoing, drawing on the "Wish.com" meme to take aim at the new faction:-

Which is completely understandable. Beyond the generally spooky vibe, this new, heel Edge and new ally Priest were dressed from head-to-toe in black suits on Raw, making their entrance to a booming metal soundtrack with dimmed, coloured lighting.

The House of Black started coming together this January, when King made his AEW debut, though their presentation style goes back to Malakai Black's arrival in July 2021. Buddy Matthews recently signed with Tony Khan's promotion to complete the trio, making his in-ring debut alongside King and Black at Revolution 2022 in March, where they defeated PAC, Penta Oscuro, and the returning Erick Redbeard.

As far as Edge's still-unnamed group goes, two former NXT title-holders have been pitched as potential additions, though nothing is confirmed yet - despite recent teases on both candidates' futures.
