Rush has re-signed with AEW, ending speculation on his professional wrestling future.

The Faccion Ingobernable member confirmed as much in a video posted to Twitter. Accompanied by the following caption, the clip featured AEW founder and CEO Tony Khan:-

I started a new chapter in my personal and professional career, people doubted I could make it, today I want to say that im 100% AEW. Thank you @TonyKhan , thank you fans and thank my LFI brothers. We can now rule the wrestling world.

Last week brought speculation that Rush may be on his way out of AEW, with the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reporting that the brawler's one-year deal with the Khan-helmed group was coming to an end.

In the latest Figure Four Online/Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Meltzer states that WWE and Rush shared a mutual interest in working together, though WWE sources believed that AEW had extended a more lucrative offer - and felt that Rush would re-sign there.

Rush's LFI stablemate, Andrade El Idolo, is currently feuding with House of Black on Collision, albeit without allies. AEW therefore has an easy storyline to facilitate Rush's return to television on the table.
