AEW's Trent Beretta has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Best Friends star was due to compete at last night's NJPW Capital Collision, but New Japan announced ahead of the show that Trent would be missing the event.

Originally set to team with CHAOS cohort Kazuchika Okada against Bullet Club's Jay White and Hikuleo, Beretta was replaced in the match by Rocky Romero. Ultimately, it would be Romero taking the loss at Capital Collision, with Switchblade hitting the Bladerunner on Rocky for the 1-2-3.
