All Elite Wrestling's Darius Martin has gone under the knife for ACL surgery.

The Top Flight man confirmed as much himself, tweeting the following on Thursday:-

Martin, 21, hasn't wrestled for AEW since the 2 March episode of Dark, on which he and brother Daunte defeated Fuego Del Sol and Jon Cruz. His last match was for independent group F1RST Wrestling on 21 February.

There's no word on when or how, exactly, Darius suffered his injury.

Daunte has kept a regular AEW schedule in his brother's absence, working as a singles wrestler opposite the likes of Jack Evans and Max Caster on Dark and Dark: Elevation, while also teaming with the Varsity Blonds to face The Pinnacle on Dynamite last month.

Top Flight have been with AEW since October 2020, when they debuted on Dark. The promotion officially announced it had signed the duo after they wrestled The Young Bucks on Dynamite the following month and prior to Darius' injury, the tandem was sitting on a 4-0 tag record in 2021.

All the best to Darius in his recovery from ACL surgery. Procedures of this nature can take anywhere between two and nine months to recover from.
