Having been absent from this past week's AEW Dynamite and Rampage, Chuck Taylor has revealed he's recently had to undergo emergency dental surgery.

As Chuckie T himself noted on Twitter, he had to have this emergency surgery on his "dumb skull"... though the Best Friends man was hopeful that Trent Beretta had picked him up a ticket to Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

An AEW Original, Taylor has been with Tony Khan's promotion since its inception. Prior to that, the 36-year-old had competed for the likes of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Evolve, Dragon Gate USA, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and Chikara in a career that dates all the way back to 2002.

Of course, the tag tandem of Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta has been together as far back as 2013, with the Best Friends having been joined by Orange Cassidy, Kris Statlander, Danhausen and occasionally Rocky Romero over more recent years.

Speaking of Danhausen, the Very Nice, Very Evil star himself is unfortunately soon to have surgery on a torn pec. It's not yet known the severity of this tear or how long the talent will be out of action, but all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling send our best wishes out to Danhausen and Chuck Taylor at this time.
