AEW Star Unhappy With Booking (Or Lack Thereof)?

This AEW monster isn't best pleased with how he is currently being used...

Lance Archer
AEW

Lance Archer hadn't wrestled in 51 days as of yesterday - and 'The Murderhawk Monster' wants the world to know that this wasn't by choice.

The AEW star tweeted as much on Sunday:-

His current usage rate is sparse. Archer is yet to compete anywhere in the world in 2023, having last laced up his boots for New Japan Pro Wrestling on 23 December. This was on a Road To Tokyo Dome show ahead of Wrestle Kingdom 17, which he wasn't part of, and came after a World Tag League tour spanning November and December. Archer teamed with Minoru Suzuki during that tournament.

You must go back even deeper to find Lance's last AEW match. A five-minute defeat to Ricky Starks on 18 November was the last time the big man wrestled on AEW television. Removing Dark and Dark: Elevation from the equation, Archer competed only ten times on AEW shows last year.

Archer, 45, has been with AEW since signing a multi-year deal in February 2020. Recent times have seen him compete more for NJPW than his home promotion, benefitting from the working relationship between the two companies.
