AEW Talent Set To Leave, Contract Not Being Renewed

This AEW personality is on the way out of the company, with their contract set to expire.

Vickie Guerrero
AEW

Vickie Guerrero is set to finish up with AEW when her contract expires later this year, with the two parties opting against a renewal.

This is per Grapsody and Fightful's Righteous Reg (via Fightful Select). Multiple sources have confirmed Guerrero's impending departure, which will happen once her current deal expires in July.

Vickie's first AEW appearance came in December 2019, when she served as a guest commentator on Dark. Guerrero then became a full-timer with the promotion the following July, coming in as Nyla Rose's manager, a spot she remains in to date. Andrade El Idolo then came into AEW as Vickie's latest client the following June, though this alliance was short-lived.

Alongside Rose, Guerrero has also been affiliated with Marina Shafir on AEW television. Her work behind the scenes included a role in AEW Heels as well as contributions to the company's digital platforms.

Guerrero had not maintained a strong onscreen presence in recent times, with allies Shafir and Rose rarely appearing on Dynamite and Rampage, confining the group to AEW's YouTube shows, Dark and Dark: Elevation. Vickie wrestled one match during her AEW run, teaming with Nyla in a defeat to Britt Baker and Rebel in June 2021.
