Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp revealed during the post-show tied to AEW All In 2026 that management fired out warnings to everyone else on the card not to go over their allotted time. The reason? They were wary of chewing into time needed for the Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay main event.
According to Sapp, All Elite top brass "really, really stressed in rehearsals" that every single match on the stacked card at Wembley Stadium had to be mindful. There'd be pretty serious consequences if workers, referees, agents etc failed to pay attention, because Tony Khan didn't want to take any chances and risk reducing what Omega and Ospreay had planned for their headliner.
That AEW World Title showdown was the most important match in London over the weekend, no doubt.
Continuing, Fightful's boss said "if you do [eat into the main event's time], you’re going to get some heat for it because, like...this is to the minute". AEW also wanted to make sure the entrances for Kenny and Will were handed sufficient time as well. Nothing was left to chance, which was surely expected going into the pay-per-view.
This was, after all, the biggest moment of Ospreay's entire career. Winning AEW's top prize in front of a big crowd at Wembley in London? That's priceless for the new champ. Everyone else involved in the show was put on high alert - force the main event to drop a few carefully-planned minutes and you're gonna be in big, big trouble.
There are no reports of backstage heat for anyone in particular though, which is a positive.
