AEW Worlds End 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Adam Copeland = New TNT Champ

Meanwhile, nobody had Edge winning AEW's TNT Title on top of their wishlists at the start of 2023. Back then, Adam Copeland was WWE royalty and looked like he'd end his career under Triple H's watch. Uh uh. Copeland decided to leave, joined AEW, and now he's working 'No DQ' bouts vs. his real-life bestie.

It's amazing how things work out in this crazy industry.

One year ago, Samoa Joe was the TNT Champ. Fast forward to late-2023, and it's Christian Cage in the hot seat, albeit not for long. All Elite Wrestling has the chance to validate Adam's decision and make an undercard championship look even bigger all at once. All they have to do is put "W" next to his name on the booking sheets.

Christian and Copeland aren't finished doing business together in AEW by a long shot, but it'd be sweet to see the latter taste success during his first pay-per-view singles showing since becoming #AllElite. That really is a must.
