Cody Rhodes to be Bayley's next guest on Ding Dong, Hello!? Well, no...

WWE and AEW's promotional lines were crossed last night, as Bayley and Britt Baker had a little fun with each other on Twitter.

It began with All Elite's resident dentist suggesting her promotion's franchise player for the following role:-

This caught a lot of attention straight away, quickly amassing thousands of likes.

The former SmackDown Women's Champion responded with the following:-

Meanwhile, Bayley had a few suggestions of her own, responding to WWE's original tweet with Matthew McConaughey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Michael Cole.

It'd be a huge surprise if this was anything other than a bout of good-natured trolling, given that Baker's partner, Adam Cole, wrestles in NXT, and Bayley's, Aaron Solow, has been active on Dark since last summer, working 15 matches in total.

Of course, the crossover will never happen for obvious reasons. It'd be a hoot to see this version of Cody on WWE television though.

Ding Dong, Hello! debuted on last week's episode of SmackDown, with Bayley welcoming feud partner Bianca Belair as her guest. Baker currently hosts The Waiting Room in AEW, having brought it to Dark several weeks ago before switching the concept to Dynamite with Rhodes as her main guest last week.
