Jon Moxley revealed his opinion that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jamie Noble is the best producer in wrestling during an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp.

The current AEW World Champion famously hasn't held back in criticising many of the backstage elements of his ex-employer ever since his departure in April last year, but spoke positively in the interview regarding some of the former pros who influenced him during his time in WWE.

The former Dean Ambrose also explained that MNM alum Joey Mercury was influential in guiding his development in the years following his signing with the company in 2011, before stating his belief that Noble is the very best in the business at what he does:

"Joey Mercury for me was a huge influence in my early years in WWE and Jamie Noble was, I think, he’s probably the best producer at putting together matches. He can see it from a wrestler’s perspective because he’s had so many amazing matches"

Moxley was also full of praise about Noble's in-ring career, stating that he had recently been impressed watching Noble taking on Daniel Bryan in Ring Of Honor.

The news comes after the recent release of the movie Cagefighter: World's Collide, in which Moxley plays Randy Stone, doing a reverse CM Punk in portraying a pro wrestler who decides to make the switch to mixed martial arts.
