AEW's Matt Hardy "Fine" After Car Accident
Matt Hardy's car may be wrecked, but the AEW star is "fine".
According to a recent Twitter post from Matt Hardy, the AEW star was recently involved a car accident caused by another driver checking out a wrecked vehicle.
The accident reportedly went down during the wresting veterans journey home from Jacksonville on Friday, with Hardy encountering a car wreck 25 minutes away from his home. However, as the star was held in stand-still traffic, a truck collided with Hardy's stopped car at about 40mph. As Hardy states in a later tweet, this was due to the driver "rubbernecking the wreck".
Thankfully, it appears the 'BROKEN' one is safe and healthy despite his car taking quite a battering in the accident.
This isn't the only time Hardy has made the headlines this week, however, with the former Team Xtreme member showing up on the latest episode of IMPACT alongside his Private Party associates, Marq Quen and Isaiah Kassidy. Private Party would go on to defeat the team of James Storm and Chris Sabin on Tuesday night, earning themselves an IMPACT World Tag Team Championship shot against The Good Brothers in the process.
That match is set to go down on IMPACT's February 13 No Surrender event which will air exclusively on IMPACT Plus.
