AEW's Miro BLASTS Jim Cornette Over Penelope Ford Comments

Miro has fired back at Jim Cornette over the controversial words he had to say about Penelope Ford on his podcast.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Cornette referred to Ford as Kip Sabian's "slutty girlfriend", whilst also taking aim at the group and their match against Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy at Revolution 2021. Clearly not happy with the abuse fired at himself, Sabian and Ford in particular, Miro took to Twitter to blast the well-known wrestling personality.

The former WWE star first tweeted out:

“@TheJimCornette, if You call Penelope Slut again I’ll come like Gods wrath on you! You understand. I’ll personally drive to Your BASEMENT."

He then followed this up by adding that Cornette is bringing the wrestling industry down and opening the door for more abuse to be fired at other stars:

“People like @TheJimCornette bring not only pro wrestling down, but young women and men get abused and name called for 40 views on YouTube,”

He then sealed off his response by adding, “Answer me you mark @TheJimCornette.”

Ford also commented on Cornette's horrendous choice of words by responding to another fan's tweet.

Criticising and commenting on a performer's character and in-ring work is one thing, but verbally abusing them with horrific terminology in the way Cornette did in his rant about the trio is something else entirely and completely inappropriate.

Cornette has yet to respond to Miro and Ford's responses as of writing.
