AEW's Miro was recently interviewed by the excellent Chris Van Vliet, touching on all kinds of topics relevant to his professional wrestling career, with some of the most illuminating comments coming from his thoughts on Rusev Day.

"Talking about it really brings me down," Miro said, stating that WWE "really disliked Aiden [English]." The former 'Bulgarian Brute' ended up telling his partner this because everyone else was "scared" to do so, stating that one time, when Miro pitched a high spot for Aiden in one of their matches, WWE officials told him "no."

"I was told we could not highlight Aiden," claimed Miro. He wasn't given a proper explanation, though, which left him frustrated and angry. "I don't get p*ssed off that he should have been this or should have been that, no. It's about taking away opportunities. We were having matches already, why can't we showcase him? I don't understand."

English and Miro were both let go from WWE as part of the company's mass releases on 15 April. Miro is currently in AEW, working as Kip Sabian's 'Best Man', while Aiden recently returned to wrestling under his real name, Matthew Rehwoldt.
