AEW's Nick Jackson suffered a heel injury during the company's 3 November television tapings in Independence, Missouri, reports Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

This led to concern over the younger Young Buck's ability to work Full Gear 2021 tomorrow night (13 November), as there were fears he may have broken a bone. Fortunately, it was only bruised, meaning Nick is clear to wrestle on the show.

Jackson was hurt while being launched off the stage by Luchasaurus as part of a beatdown angle that saw Nick's Superkliq teammate, Adam Cole, blasted with a one-man Con-Chair-To at the top of the ramp. Full Gear will see The Young Bucks and Cole team to face Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy) and Christian Cage.

The Elite have been feuding with Jurassic and Cage since All Out 2021 (5 September), where Cole's debut was upstaged by fellow newcomer Bryan Danielson. This week's Dynamite saw Cole call in a favour from Bobby Fish, his former WWE ally, who beat Jungle Boy down at his behest.

The Bucks' last pay-per-view outing saw them drop the AEW World Tag Team Titles to The Lucha Brothers at All Out.
