There's currently no word on when Mike Tyson will next appear for All Elite Wrestling, though Chris Jericho has hit his Talk is Jericho podcast to reveal the promotion's original plans for the 'Baddest Man on the Planet.'

Per 'Le Champion,' Tyson was supposed to knock somebody out on AEW television - and that man was Sammy Guevara.

Jericho claimed that this was going to happen during the confrontation between his Inner Circle and Tyson's group that closed the 27 May episode of Dynamite. A change of creative plans saw the opposing forces disperse after a mass brawl, without anybody going to sleep.

'Iron Mike' brought MMA fighters Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, and Henry Cejudo to Dynamite with him, as well as actor Mickey Gooch and regular AEW enhancement talent Musa. The implication coming out of the segment was that he and Jericho will face off again, possibly in a wrestling match, though AEW is yet to confirm Tyson's return to the promotion.

Drawing mainstream eyes to a product that has struggled through the ongoing global situation (along with every other wrestling show) is AEW's goal in booking 'Iron Mike,' who retains considerable star power despite being decades removed from his prime.
