Thunder Rosa has revealed that a concussion recently prevented her from training for over a week.

Speaking on the latest episode of her vlog - which was recorded prior to travelling to Boston, MA for last week's AEW Dynamite and Rampage tapings - the former NWA Women's World Champion declared that the head knock meant she couldn't work out for 10 days.

Rosa, who has a first-round bye in the ongoing AEW TBS Championship tournament, said that she was "just trying to be safe" upon returning to training. Where or when she suffered the concussion is currently unclear.

AEW's 16 October television tapings hosted Rosa's last match for the promotion, as she teamed with Kris Statlander and Red Velvet to defeat Diamante, Emi Sakura, and Nyla Rose in a bout taped for Dark prior to the YouTure series' relocation to Universal Studios. A fortnight-long in-ring hiatus followed, with Rosa not returning to the ring until an AAW show on 30 October.

Though AEW is yet to confirmed Rosa's next bout for the promotion, she will face the winner of this week's bout between Anna Jay and Jamie Hayter in the TBS Title tournament's second round.
