Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed's "Scissor me Daddy A$$!" t-shirt is All Elite Wrestling's best-selling piece of merchandise of 2022 so far.

This was confirmed by the @ShopAEW Twitter account on Wednesday:-

An impressive feat, given that the original black t-shirt was only made available for purchase in early September. Launched in conjunction with the trio's rise to immense popularity, it has seemingly proven a huge hit with AEW's merch-buying faithful, propelling it to the top of the carts.

AEW recently released a special pink version of the shirt as part of its Top Rope Tuesday scheme. Anyone interested in picking that one up has the next five days to do so. Otherwise, it's gone forever.

The Acclaimed were crowned AEW World Tag Team Champions by defeating Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee at last month's special Grand Slam event. Aligned with Billy following a feud with 'Daddy *ss' and his sons, Austin and Colten, they have been steadily growing in popularity for a while but went supernova at All Out 2022 (4 September), commanding immense reactions in a losing effort opposite Swerve In Our Glory.

"Scissor me, Daddy *ss!" has become one of the most over catchphrases in all of wrestling in the process. Last night, AEW celebrated this by declaring National Scissoring Day on Dynamite.
