Earlier this year, former WWE Divas' Champion AJ Brooks (who competed for the company as AJ Lee) announced that she had finished work on her autobiography.

Today, it was announced that Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules will be released on April 4, 2017.

The book is set to chronicle AJ's rise from an impoverished wrestling fan growing up in New Jersey to one of the most popular stars on WWE's roster. She was trained in her home state by current Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal, debuted for Women Superstars Uncensored, was recruited by WWE into Florida Championship Wrestling, arrived on TV as part of NXT Season 3, then took the main roster by storm.

The largest drawing point for the book may surround Brooks's take on her final few months in WWE. By then, she was a three-time Divas' Champion and one of the centerpieces of the division, but the bad blood with which her husband, CM Punk, had left the company months earlier led many to speculate that her days in WWE were numbered.

She reportedly rattled some cages when, upon accepting a 2014 Slammy Award for Diva of the Year, she chose to put over the women of NXT rather than her WWE coworkers, and after WrestleMania 31, she retired from wrestling.
